Running at 1080p, 8xmsaa, and 16xaf. Using dolphin 5.0 with a gtx980ti, i74770k, 16gb ram.Game runs great other than this issue.

Try the latest master branch: 5.0-3253 and see if that helps. Also try reducing the anti-aliasing too 4xmsaa. I can't even see any graphical difference but i can see a great performance boost.
My specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 x64
Processor/CPU: intel I7 3770 3.4 Ghz
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB
Memory/RAM: 16 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-xxxx X64 (always the latest) and the latest Ishiiruka for custom textures.

I'm still learning english. Please, be patient with me. And, if i make a mistake, please correct me, i will learn a lot this way!  Big Grin

Please advise! I'm getting random slow down, stuttering, and lag in mario galaxy and mario galaxy 2 on 1080p. If I alt tab out and back in it fixes it. I have a i7 6700 and gtx 1060. Other than the game runs perfectly. Thanks!

Ok I have a kind of annoying problem here.
First of all, is this the right place to post this?
Second, here's the problem: you guys already know that you need "Skip EFB access from CPU" unticked to properly shoot the starbits in Mario Galaxy, and it works, but when I disable it my game slows down a bit, in the HUB I'm having 40-50 fps but in the rest of the game it's often 60 fps (and cpu override doesn't work in this game apparently), but this is an hardware problem and we can't do very much. The real problem is that when I untick that and I look at that sort of sun in the horizon (shown in picture) the game slow down A LOT, at the point of being unplayable, around 20-30 fps, even in the HUB. But... why? This doesn't happen when I have that option ticked. Do you know a patch for this?

That happens with some people, but the best choice is to activate all speed hacks except "Skip EFP access from CPU". Try using latest Ishiiruka with async shader compilation too, disable cpu overclock, enable dual core and disable synchronize GPU thread.
That's the fastest settings i can think, but you must know that Super Mario Galaxy uses a LOT of CPU.
Also, this game's hates external frame buffer, so disble it on "Hacks" tab.
Hope it helps!

Configure the tilt options in "Motion Controls and IR" at the emulated controller menu

It's the IR of the Wii Remote.

See I have the IR configured to my controller but I still can't point. I don't know what I'm doing wrong this time because I had the game controls working fine before. : scratchinghead :

I am trying to use real Wiimotes with the nunchuk in the Dolphin 5.0 Version from the game. The buttons itself working perfectly fine but the IR and motion controll doesnt work at all. The cursor is invisible. I tried the tip with the unchecking "Skip EFB Access from CPU" and still no cursor is visible. The sensor bar seems to be alright (i checked it with my camera).
