And what voltages are you at now?
70C is a great temperature under load, you've got plenty of headroom left.
I'd say stop overclocking when you reach 80C.

I'm stress testing with AIDA64. My voltage is oscillating a bit between 1.096 and 1.104, so pretty much 1.1.

AIDA isn't really a good stress test.
I recommend you download Prime95, and stress test with that.
Use CPU-Z to monitor your clocks and voltages.

It seems like you have your voltages on auto? If so, when overclocking you'll want to manually set your voltages.
Otherwise you might suffer from an instable system.

I've been told that AIDA was sufficient, but I'll look into Prime95. I've already got CPU-Z as well.

As for the voltages, I'm really not sure what they are set on. The settings are a bit overwhelming for me right now. I'll look into giving them a manual setting, I guess 1.1 would be a good place to start.

AIDA is certainly an option, but Prime95 and Intel Burntest are widely used, globally approved methods of stress testing.

If you don't know then they're most likely on auto.
What have you done to overclock? I'm assuming you've done it from Windows.
You should get familiar with the BIOS if you haven't already.

Start low, and increase your voltages incrementally. You'll quickly find out that your PC won't boot (to Windows), don't panic,
just get back in the BIOS and increase that voltage.
I highly recommend you look for a guide for overclocking Ivy Bridge, but more importantly, what settings to change in the BIOS for your specific motherboard.

BTW we're getting very offtopic now... Tongue

I overclocked by increasing the multiplier in the BIOS (or UEFI now I guess). The amount of settings it provides is overwhelming, way more than any BIOS I've previously used. I've been looking for guides and such, but for some reason I can't dig too much up. There were actually predefined settings for overclocking supplied by the UEFI, once I had gotten up to 4.0Ghz I decided to try their predefined 4.0 setting. That's what I'm using right now.

We are getting offtopic, I apologize.

Ah... the auto overclock button. The Ivy Bridge is tell very new, so there's probably not many guides yet.
But if you need help overclocking, I'd suggest you create a thread in the appropriate forum, and take pictures with your camera of the BIOS so we could attempt to help.

I might do that, thanks for the direction.

As a side note, I am running Prime95 now and the results are quite different. I'm reaching temperatures of 80C now. I don't get how that's happening with the same 100% load, but I suppose it was a good idea to try another stress test.

That isn't his problem, I think he did that Tongue, he complaining that it keeps going back to the middle after he moves it.
