Wii Sports Resort Storm Island freezes at intro screen (Riivolution)

Hello. I've tried out the recently added Riivolution support on my PC and on Android (via JosJuice's pull request) and I'm having difficulties running Storm Island for Wii Sports Resort. I first opened the original game so that it makes a save, then I load the Riivolution XML and pick my game's region (NTSC). However, it ends up freezing on the intro screen. I'm not sure how to take a log so any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
