Like everyone i have freezes with all newer revisions, but no freezes with r4710. But as i see he is using r4710 with the d3d-plugin, and that is really not working for me. i have to use opengl, wich is slower.
I guess you've right.. I have the same problem with that revision and d3d plugin with my nVidia card
so I have to use the opengl plugin (slow) or a newer revision but with dualcore disabled (slow too).
On latest releases it crashes less frequently at least
