The game is locked at 30 and i want it to unlock and it wont. i prefer playing at 60 fps because most of the time in 30 fps it will drop to the point where there is alot of lag. is there a way to unlock the fps so it can lock at 60 instead of 30?
[Wii] SpongeBob SquarePants Truth or Square 30 FPS unlock?

No, ToS is a game that was designed to run at 30 fps. Lag will not be resolved by increasing the FPS, if anything that would make the game harder to run and would cause it to lag even more.

It lags, or it will drop frames? 2 completely different things that aren't eachothers synonyms and thus aren't interchangeable. 1. Lag: Move your stick/push a button and it will take x amount of seconds (miliseconds) to see it inside the game... 2. Frame drops: Your computer isn't fast enough to run game X at full speed and shows less frames causing it to stutter or in case of most emulators run slower. But since you have these specs: Intel Core i5-3320M CPU @ 2.50GHz / NVIDIA NVS 5200M which is a(n old) laptop we will have to assume it is number 2. thus your computer is too slow to run this game and unlocking the framerate to 60fps will be waaaaaay too much for it and make it worse if you cannot even run 30fps stable. If you are running anything else but default settings please make sure you are running on D3D11 or OpenGL, 1x IR (or Native resolution) No other enhancements, meaning: No MSAA or SSAA, no AF, No Per pixel lighting and so on... If it still drops frames there is only one thing you can do: Get a faster laptop/PC.

When talking about games, lag usually means dropping frames, even though it is possible to use it to refer to input latency too. 04-06-2019, 06:41 PM

Since when has it become lag instead of framedrops? This is something that has changed in the last few months/year and a half... because lag always used to mean input lag, lag from server to client and back, lag from sound/video sync and so on... never has it meant a low framerate/framedrops until recently when the weebs started using it in that fashion, which IMHO is completely incorrect... When I was playing UT GOTY, UT2k4 or Q3A when people started shouting and blaming lag it was because the(ir) internet connection couldn't keep up and the player they were shooting at was at another position in the game(server) than that their computer was showing them...
