I'm having a weird problem. I've tried SVN 7621 revision and the game works normally. Currently, i'm using a 32bit OS and still want to play the game so I download 32bit of SVN 7621. Unfortunately, the game is at black screen but the sound and button is working. What's wrong with this?

What's wrong with this? It's better to get a newer build to play the game, if you haven't already downloaded one. It should be 3.0 and later. If you're using the Direct3D9 Graphics backend, the game won't work unless you use the "Sonic and the Black Knight" projection hack. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then let me tell you how to do this. You must have found the folder, where you have the iso file through dolphin, so you can see the banner and the details of the game in the Dolphin-screen. 1. Right click on the game and click on "Properties". 2. You'll see some extra settings that take effect only on the iso you want. Make sure that Dual Core, Idle Skipping, Faster loading from disk and HLE Sound are checked. If they aren't, check them yourself and uncheck all the other options. 3. Under those, look for a Adapting Projection hack, or just Projection hack (I don't use the english version, so, I don't know how it is written in other ones). 4. Check it and click on the "Options", or "Settings" button, which is right next to the "Projection hack" phrase. 5. On top, you'll be able to select one of the preset projection hacks. Select the "Sonic and the Black Knight", click OK and you're done! If you use another graphics backend, (such as Direct3D11, or OpenGL), don't use the above projection hack. The game should work correctly by itself. I hope this post was of help. |
