First, sorry to ressurect this ancient thread, but I am unable to post anywhere else so it has to be here.
When trying to play a movie on this game, you would hear the audio just fine but get a black screen. This happens with the first SEGA logo at the start, and all other CGI cutscenes. I hope this has not been mentioned before somewhere else, but apparently when you bring the Wii interface when running the game, while the icon remains in the screen the animation will play for a few frames before freezing again. I am running Dolphin 5.0-8535, and I can provide more information later if need. Here is a video for demonstration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlbvPaWl8MU 11-11-2018, 12:03 PM

Are you using the default graphics settings?
edit: nvm, known problem in the latest builds https://dolp.in/i10639 11-12-2018, 07:27 AM
Thank you for referring to that topic; in the latest stable version the issue is not present, I gather?
I wonder if the information about the menu coming up will be of any use. In the version I am using, the bug will occur even on default settings. I tried on OpenGL, Direct 3D11, and Vulkan (which I realize was giving me a black screen because of Dolphin.fx effect). It happens on all three of them. 11-12-2018, 07:39 AM
I broke this and here's finally my attempt at fixing(more precisely patching) the issue:
https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/7562 Download of a Windows build for this: https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-7562-d...est-x64.7z 11-14-2018, 11:46 AM
I have downloaded your fix, and everything is working flawless until now.
Thanks a lot! |
