i7 720QM 1.6 Ghz (Turbo Boost gets it to 2.8Ghz)
nVidia GeForce GTX 260M VRAM 1GB
4GB ram
64bit Windows 7

trying to get this running as close to 30 fps as I can. No luck as of yet. I tried using the latest ICC patch version from http://electrodexs.net/default.htm but no luck there. I have been able to get Monster Hunter Tri to 30 fps the majority of the time and onl dropping to 28 or 27 when it does drop. I imagine I need a special build just like there is for Monster Hunters Tri. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to bump an old thread. I was hoping someone could help me out.

Right now, I'm using Dolphin 3.0. Newer builds result in severe slowdowns for me on all settings and in all games, so I'm sticking with 3.0 until I figure out what the problem is.

I have Sonic Colors running very well at 30 fps in menus and in game using the Vbeam hack, but sound is very poor. The crackling and popping can get pretty unbearable. Restarting the game fixes the issue temporarily but it always comes back within a few minutes.

System specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Intel core i5 @ 2.67 GHz w/ HT
4gb DDR3 RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6550M 1GB

Settings:
Game Specific:
- Accurate VBeam emulation

Emulator GPU (checked, all others unchecked):
- DX9
- 2x Native
- Scaled EFP Copy
- Skip EFP Access from CPU
- Ignore Format Changes
- Texture Cache slid all the way to fast (right)
- External Frame Buffer; Disable
- Fast Mipmaps
- Disable Per-Pixel Depth
- OpenCL Texture Decoder
- OpenMP Texture Decoder

Emulator DSP (checked, all others unchecked):
- DSP HLE emulation
- Enable DTK Music
- Enable Audio Throttle
- DSound Backend
- 48000 hz
