[Wii] Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing - Wiimote 2 disconnects in split screen multipl

Hello! I'm like a whole year late to this, but have you tried the wiimote in a different game that has multiplayer. If it doesn't work, the controller is probably dead. also how did you get sonic and sega all stars racing to work? I dumped the game as a WBFS file and dolphin isnt even wanting to read it.
