[Wii] Skyward Sword - 100% emulation speed drop to ~70% after an hour of play.

Hi guys, I'm currently playing Skyward Sword and initially I get absolutely perfect performance that doesn't waver from 30FPS 100% speed, but after around an hour of gameplay it begins to drop lower and lower and eventually settles around 24-26FPS.

If I close Dolphin and start it again, it immediately goes back to 100% speed but the cycle continues after another hour or so of playing.

My CPU temp doesn't get higher than 55 Celcius but I know that isn't the issue because restarting the emulation at the same temp makes the game run perfectly fine again.

I'm currently using r7719 as I heard it was the best, settings are:
Configure:
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
Famelimit: Auto
JIT Recompiler

Graphics:
Direct3D9
Scaled EFB Copy
External Frame Buffer - Disable
Fast Mipmaps
Disable Per-Pixel Depth

Is this just something you guys need to live with or is this a solved problem? I've looked and looked but I haven't found anything concerning this topic which makes me feel as though it is only on my end.

Thanks a lot, I really love this game and much prefer it over playing on my Wii.

Overclock your i5 3570k to 4.2GHz and use latest Dolphin
Honestly , i think i5 3570k stock speed is fast enough for Zelda SS though...
Or Right-click the game -> Properties -> Tick "Enable Vbeam" -> Speed boost

EDIT: Tried it, didn't change anything. The problem isn't that it wont run well, it's that it stops running well after playing for a while.

Hey, thanks for the response.

See, I thought about overclocking it but that still wouldn't make sense to me because I achieve 100% speed for an hour and then it drops off after that so I don't think it's a hardware issue, more like a software issue.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try them and see what happens.

Does the speed drop when traversing exactly the same area? cause some places maybe heavier than others.
......?????

Sorry to bump this thread, but instead of making a new one with almost the exact same message, I thought I'd just... well, bump this one! xD

I'm having exactly the same issue as the OP. The game starts off perfectly fine, 100%, 30FPS, no drops. After about an hour of play, the game starts getting all janky/sluggish (Link's running animation starts skipping a few frames, etc). I close Dolphin, restart it ASAP, problem is solved and it runs fine for the next hour.

Any idea what is causing this? :3 I'd appreciate any help! I have an i5 3570k overclocked to 4.0GHz, and my temps are less than 50-55C during the game, so temps are not a problem~

Oh and it doesn't matter what area I am in, it happens regardless. Not sure if the OP ever found the problem or whatever. Again, sorry for the bump~
