I'd like to report an issue. In the build I'm currently using I can't progress past the tutorial, even though I've taken all steps outlined in another post. The game will say "point your wiimote at the tree" but when I try it, the game seems to ignore it. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'm sorry if this isn't the place to post this kind of thing, I'm brand new to this forum.

I don't consider the game playable in this state (It starts). 07-13-2021, 11:08 PM

I got the game playable with these settings; [Video_Settings] SafeTextureCacheColorSamples = 0 [Video_Hacks] EFBToTextureEnable = False Video_Settings deals with the missing letters, and Video_Hacks the unresponsive "point your wiimote at the three". 09-13-2023, 04:28 AM

Hello everybody!
In the beginning, I'm apologizing for bad English (it's not my native language) and little common knowledge about Dolphin Emulator (I'm totally new to this program). I have a massive problem with the title of this post (Simanimals on wii) - of course, the problem is the beginning tutorial and that damn tree. I tested lots of solutions ("Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" unchecked; "Texture Cache" on Safe; even putting this code on the game ([ [Video_Settings] SafeTextureCacheColorSamples = 0/[Video_Hacks] EFBToTextureEnable = False) and checking random versions of Dolphin), but literally NOTHING works. Because of that, I decided to share with you all my settings and computer details and ask: Does this work on your version? Should I change something in the settings? Maybe you can recommend a concrete version of Dolphin? Thanks for everything! Computer details: Operating System: Windows 10 x64 Processor/CPU: Intel® Core i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Video Card/GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Memory/RAM: Kingston Fury 16GB Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-19870 Picture of settings: Edit: The attachment doesn't show up, so I decided to put a link to the photo: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TSPvi_3...sp=sharing Thanks, Tyrziu 09-13-2023, 11:32 PM
Hey!
I solved my problem! For me, everything works when I set "Internal Resolution" on Auto. From Dolphin Discord, I know that it is not the best option to have, but it works for me. Also on Discord, people are suggesting unchecking "Skip EFB Access from CPU" so if something doesn't work for you, you can uncheck it. Thanks, Tyrziu! |
