Wii Saves Corrupt Upon Import

I recently decided that I wanted to replay some of the old games I used to play on my Wii. I've spent the past few days hacking the Wii so I could convert my games into ISOs, using USB Loader GX to lift the game files from the disks on to an external HDD, and emulate them using Dolphin.

I decided I wanted the save files for the games, since I had some unlockables which I didn't want to have to spend time trying to unlock again in pretty much all of them. So I transferred the save files onto an SD card from the Wii and then tried to import the saves into Dolphin from the SD card using Tools>Import Wii Save... However upon booting any of the games they say the files are corrupt. I've tried re-copying the files from the Wii but there's no change. All the files work fine on the Wii. Does anyone have any kind of idea as to what may be causing this?

Thanks! Big Grin

If you still have the wii, you could do a nand backup and import it to dolphin. You will have all the saves and all the channels you had.

We're looking into the issue now.

There's some garbage being appended onto the end of files.
