With a fresh properly formatted nand dump from 4.3u I'm having issues in the system menu when viewing wii save files, not gamecube memory cards. Basically what happens when i import my nand and load the system menu everything works fine. As soon as i copy my save files manually or import them with dolphins built in import feature viewing the save files in the system menu causes them not to display. Until i click on sd card then return to the wii tab finally they display. After i'm able to get them to display and try to exit back to the system menu the emulator crashes with a high pitch screeching sound lol. I'm able to load the saves just fine launching the games from dolphins gui, but for some reason the system menu is not accessing them correctly when manually copied or imported. I'm using the latest dev build.

System Specs:
Cpu:7700k @5ghz (passed 30hrs of prime95)
Gpu: GTX 980
Ram: 32gb DDR4 3000mhz

Anyone?

What version are you using? Your specs are pretty much irrelevant here, but knowing the version is absolutely required to figure out what issue it might be.

Idk off hand I'm at work atm. When i get home I'll take a look and let you know. I've tried quite a few of the dev builds from the past few days.

Do you have logs? (Enable all IOS related log types, set the log level to Info)

I have been doing some thorough testing. So I started with a fresh install of Dolphin (deleted everything.) Something went off in my head to believe this was being caused by virtual console titles. So i reinstalled Dolphin and imported my clean backup nand with literally nothing on it but my wii settings and the homebrew channel. This nand backup was not created with bootmii or any custom ios's installed. It also has no channels (except preinstalled) and no save files at all on it. Completely fresh. What i decided to to after installing Dolphin was generate my own saves. First with all Wii games only. After loading a game and generating a save i immediately backed out by closing the game window then loading the Wii menu and entering the save management in the system menu to check if the save caused the issue of not displaying the saves or causing the crash. I did this individually for every Wii game that i have. None of the saves generated normally in game caused any issues or crashing. It seemed at this point that i was correct about it being the virtual console titles. So i finally decided to boot Super Mario 64. I saved in game then closed the emulator. I then went back to the system menu save management and sure enough the Wii saves were not displaying. I had to select the sd card wait for it to load than return to the wii save tab and then they would appear. Under these conditions a crash is always going to occur when exiting the save options and returning to the wii main menu. I was able to solve this by first installing the virtual console to the nand in dolphins gui with the WAD then launching the game and saving in game. Save files and save menu related crashing solved!

You mean the crash was because you played and saved in a Virtual Console title without ever installing it to NAND?

Totally not a waste of time. This is a great example of why hacks are bad, and why specifically, allowing users to boot WADs without installing is *really* bad and inaccurate.
