Bug report:
When using OGL or DX9 back ends before starting a mission the map and menus are missing. DX11 backend works just fine however causes glitches when using texture packs (text only to my knowledge)

Steps to repeat:
Change backend to OGL or DX9 then open the game, select any mode and choose a character, choose any battle and you will see the missing textures and map.

I've not actually gone in game so i am not sure what else is broken.

Disable Fast Depth Calculation. I don't know since when this is needed or why d3d11 works without it though.

I'm trying to get this to work with the most recent stable version, 4.0.2. It for the most part runs fine, but when I get into battle it runs at 90% and there is a distinct audio stutter. I've tried different fps limiting options thinking maybe audio throttle would help, but none of them seem to make a difference. I've also tried tweaking with the graphics settings, mainly changing the internal resolution, amount of anti aliasing, and anisotropic filtering, which didn't seem to effect the frame rate or stuttering at all. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help with this, I'm pretty new to messing with these kinds of settings.

As for my specs:

Windows 7 64-bit
Intel i5-2550k (not currently overclocked)
8 gigs DDR3 ram
Nvidia Geforce 660 Ti

If you can't get constant full-speed (especially during battles) the sound will stutter.

Might be time to overclock this 2550K

Ah, does cpu matter more for Dolphin than gpu? I'm used to it being the other way around these days, hence the 660 Ti.

Maybe this will be a good excuse to upgrade to a Haswell i7. I've been meaning to anyways for work related purposes.

Talking 'bout PC gaming here right?

4770K? Yeah. A 4670K (i5) will do the job just fine too

Yeah, was talking about PC gaming. I haven't really tried emulating much of anything before this.

Thanks for the specific i7 suggestion; I'd go with the i7 since I program for a living and it definitely will help on compile times over an i5.

Did you try both backends? Post your graphics settings.
