I hope it isnt considered necro posting on this thread, but maaaan I wish I Could get at least 10 FPS on this game.
Tried all the suggestions aside from overclocking. I have a nvidia 260 GT, 6gb ram, and a 2.33 dual core, its like playing a slide show ;_; 10-20-2010, 07:39 PM
Your video card and ram are overkill, only your CPU is bottleneck .I can easily get 10-12 FPS on my Pentium D 3.06Ghz on stock (old dolphin revision btw)
Buy a better dualcore and O.C ,mine for 56$ (E5300) Or Phenom II (O.C to 3.6Ghz) will past 25FPS Laptop: Mini PC ::
Managed to get to 18-20 FPS with 6294M (Lectrode's build). Followed the settings on the first post if anyone's curious
Intel Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM Nvidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB Windows 7 64bit (Currently Playing on Dolphin: Samurai Warriors 3) 11-22-2010, 12:38 PM
Just curious, has anyone been able to play this game in full speed?
I am currently able to play at around 20-40 fps, and the speed hovers around 60 - 75%, which is not bad, but it still feels a bit sluggish compared to the original speed (if running in a Wii console). I believe my CPU is the bottleneck, because I am getting exactly the same performance on lowest (640 x 480, no AA) and highest video settings (1600 x 1050, max AA), and my CPU is at 100% all the time when in battle. Specs: Dolphin v2.0 Intel E6850 @ 3.00 Ghz 2 GB DDR2 RAM GTX 260 Core 216 Windows XP Pro 32bit Would a newer version of svn Dolphin be faster? 12-23-2010, 04:04 AM
I don't know if I should start a new post, but...I am currently unable to run the newest SVN (OpenGL doesn't like my card, and DirectX is glitched), but I wanted to make a comment. 2.0 has been working fine, though. I've been playing the US version, and occasionally, it will freeze what people are saying/objective continuation. If this has already been fixed, then sorry. But either way, if it happens, you can save and quit, then resume, and it will resume where it should be.

SVN r6284M is the fastest rev so far And the freezing after you suddently open map menu hasn't been fixed yet : Laptop: Mini PC :: 12-23-2010, 10:34 AM

The main problem with the OpenGL is that my card is onboard...which will be fixed next month. As for the freezing (which at least only freezes the progress, not the whole game), at least there is a workaround that's not that hard to do. I actually did a mission halfway, got it stuck like that, and then went around and killed everyone I could before discovering that doing an interim save and loading it caused the progression to unstick. ^_^ 07-13-2011, 12:24 AM

No interim save allowed in those modes, tried 3 times on dolphin 3.0 and it keeps jamming up progress so that the gates/stairs don't open. Does anyone know a proper fix/workaround? maybe some gecko code to enable interim save in any mode? This game is great but my wii is dead. Beat my niece at mario sport one to many times and she killed it with a throw of the nunchuk |
