Hello.

Most games run in the 50's for me but this 2D, lo-res game runs in the 30's.
Has anybody gotten it to work better?

I have a feeling that it's only designed to run at 30fps, as it's an older game, so 60fps really isn't needed.
Windows 10 x64
Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3Ghz OC'd to 4.1Ghz
Corsair XMS3 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM

The problem is that game is visibly slow. All versions of Samurai Shodown that ran on the NeoGeo ran at 59Hz, though.

I'm still struggling to get this game running smoothly.
Has anybody got any ideas for settings?

It is better to enjoy the same Samurai Shodown Anthology in PS2. I quit this on Wii emulation - Dolphin without any hope to run at full speed.
