Iv been trying to get RFF working for a few hours, and so far havent had any success. First off i tried just launching the game and it booted up some system specs on a yellow screen and then went to a cyan color and just stayed that way. Fiddled some more and changed the graphics plugin to Direct3D9. This launched and displayed system specs again, but on a black screen. Directly after, the wiimote how-to screen came up, but it was upside down and backwards and only in the top right corner of the screen. After a few moments an icon flashes that looks like a 'home' symbol with a red X through it and the screen goes black. The framerate also drops to about half ( 15fps ).

I just got Dolphin today so i am pretty much just shooting into the dark when im playing with settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried all the things you guys suggested but still nothing works.Maybe if someone who has a wii and RFF can upload a save file past that point would be great

Just an update that with the latest revision of Dolphin (3972) this game still won't go past the first conversation. It does actually boot the game though where it didn't before.

Same problem here. I doubt it's due to audio sync, as the voices only say a quick phrase at the beginning of the text, and some dialogue works right before the priestess conversation.

The game seems to run beautifully otherwise, I would definitely like to play it past that point!

havent found any fixes but i found trick , get a save from the Internet.

After a moment diving into saving stuff (probably 30mins), i got pass that place perfectly and to the 3th day spring.
I got a save but the character was Raguna, was 100 level already ( and the farm name is Mist.

The game was enjoyable, but you cant buy anything since you'll be stuck in there as good +________+. But I bought a seed maker so it wont be a problems much since the character was level 100. (
