Customs? Sure. Either via emunand or SD card, though the SD card method is a bit annoying IMHO. Everything is explained in the custom songs tutorial.

Bind the buttons to both the wiimote and extention, but on the wiimote set the "seuil"(sorry I'm using french version and idk what's the translation, it's the number below the buttons) to 0 and let the one in the extension at 50. EDIT: Looks like even using this method there's some issues, but it's minimal. When wanting to access the submenu for a song in the songlist, the buttons acts like before I found the solution; either hitting a drum pad (more often) or the actual button I wanna press (very less often). The annoyance in this is that when it hits the pad instead of the wiimote button, it scrolls the list, making you to have to scroll back to the song you wanted to access the submenu for. This issue is non-existant if you emulate a guitar, only happens with drums. I've also noticed another small issue that can be resolved with a gecko code, but that issue might be due to my CPU, being an AMD and thus, not so powerfull compared to intel ones when it comes to rendering. Sometimes, when the scene renders instead of the colorfull videos in the background, FPS drops depending on light/smoke effects that occurs on the scene. A gecko code exists however to make the background black in-game. This also could be resolved by unpacking the song and modifying the DLC to remove venue animations (or possibly eliminate anything laggy on dolphin), but only people with experience at either making official or custom content for this game would be able to do, and only doable on DLCs/custom songs, as disc songs are kind of permanent, and afaik very encrypted. Speaking of gecko codes, can they be permanently in dolphin builds? The guy that made custom songs possible on wii has made a bunch of them, and some a very usefull like the song limit cheat (the game on wii has a 1k song limit, with the gecko code you can get that really higher, though, on real wii, anything higher than 3k will freeze, but not on dolphin, making this extremely valuable... anyways, to me. I'm currently at 2090 songs on dolphin and it runs without issues).
Just shooting information out there in case someone else has the same troubles.
Instead of using a gecko cheat if you're experiencing some FPS drops while the scene renders, you can turn on All Instruments Mode, which will prevent the scene from rendering on the wii version. Playing online also prevents it from rendering. 09-10-2016, 02:46 AM

You can still buy DLCs, however, not from Dolphin. You need to buy them and download them on your wii (I suggest using an emulated nand to do this, this makes things much simpler; You can download them to your real NAND, but the SD method won't work with dolphin).
You can get online on RB3 on Dolphin, but the music store doesn't work. 03-14-2017, 12:39 PM

I got the microphone working on Dolphin 5.0-2428 and later versions with USB Passthrough support via installing USBdk (https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...assthrough). I plugged in the official Rock Band Logitech USB microphone and white-listed it in Dolphin > Configuration > Wii > Whitelisted USB Passthrough Devices. While the microphone works in-game perfectly, Dolphin crashes A LOT now. Dolphin has crashed for me in all sorts of situations: while trying to skip the intro movies, in all the menus, during songs, etc. I hope this can be fixed. Finally we may be able to play Rock Band with a full band soon! 03-21-2017, 03:07 AM
Oh, I got those issues too.
I would like to inform the community that the usbdk driver is not suported on Windows 10 and makes the system very instable. Actually, since my mouse and keyboard were USB, I got essencially locked outside my PC by this driver. I did open an issue on the usbdk git page, but Windows 10 users will have to wait them to work on a solution. 04-09-2017, 06:04 AM
