Actually, I believe the problem he's experiencing is completely different. I wouldn't really call it a bug though, as it's working exactly as Nintendo intended. The Wii renders the same non-mirrored overworld as the Gamecube version. The only difference is that the Wii uses a framebuffer to mirror the end result. The controls need to be mirrored as well to match. The reason he wasn't seeing the game in a higher resolution was because he was seeing the framebuffer, which isn't rendered at that higher resolution. He later managed to disable this framebuffer, but that meant he had to play the non-mirrored world with mirrored controls.
Well I don't know the technical thingies there
but i do think somehow it's quite correct.I applied the zelda twilight princess bloom hack to the game and the graphic became sharp and the movement control(left and right) is inverted.I'm using the real wii mote and nunchuck btw.The control went back to normal when the bloom hack is disabled. One more thing is,i found that keyboard button 3 press will adjust the graphics sharpness in 3 levels.Revision 3404 displays the most beautiful graphic with wii games while the later revision still not up to it(still looks kinda rough and blurry). With this,i think that it may be rendered at correct chosen resolution but something makes it looks blurred and rough. The "roughness" can be adjusted with the keyboard 3 button but each revisions gives different results with rev 3404 being the best.
