Anyone get lag with this game when the camera turns quickly to the other direction? Game runs full speed, but whenever the camera does a jerky movement the frame drops to catastrophically low levels temporarily, then speeds back up.

It probably uses a motion blur effect. A lot of PC games have a performance hit in the same movement for that reason.

Any way to disable it? I used the vbeam hack and that seemed to fix it, but I wonder if there are other tweaks for this game. Would like to see the wiki updated.

in the sounds option i changed the rate 48k to 32, that fixed that damn annoying slowdowns to me.

I've been playing through this game a bit lately, very fun game. Anybody have the problem of: smooth frame rates while playing 1P, but get pretty noticeable FPS drops when playing 2P w/ a friend? I can run pretty darn smoothly 1P @ 3x IR w/ 16x AF, but I have to drop down to 2x IR w/ 16x AF when I play w/ a friend. The FPS drop a lot more when playing 2P also.

Looking at the posts above, I haven't been able to find where you reduce the sound setting from 48k to 32k in Dolphin 4.0.2. I know this game is very demanding, but I would appreciate any help, thanks!

Try switching over to OpenGL backend on one of the latest dev builds.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I am already using OpenGL w/ vertex streaming hack enabled, and also Open MP Texture (although i don't think this helps any - i'm not using custom textures). I'm also using the latest build of Dolphin (4.0.2).

Don't use master, but the latest dev build (4.0-611 as of this post), as there are speed enhancements that can help
