Why is it that I will be playing a game such as New Super Mario Bros Wii, and I will state save at any given time, then when I state load, the wii remotes just don't work. They work when I state save... but as soon as I state load they just don't work until I reset the game. Yes I have checked to reconnect wii remotes on state load, I tried refreshing and everything. How do I fix this??? - Running 3.5-1233

Save states are buggy with every emulator. Just don't use them. That is really the only solution.

I had multiple problems on Project64 recently with Majora's Mask. I used a save state during the first 3-day cycle (before I could actually save) and I ended up with a corrupted save that teleported me into the mayor's residence, but all I could do was look around... Dolphin will have issues with save states. Avoid them.
Desktop:
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 4.4 GHz
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Factory OC'ed)
RAM: 16 GB @ 1600 MHz
Dolphin Revision:3.0, 3.0-784, 3.5, latest 3.5

Dear dolphin devs,
It is vital that the true value and glory of state save is fully recognized and given the respect it deserves. State save is God's gift to the video game industry. Consoles should support it. State save has saved lives. Its saved controllers from getting thrown at walls, and expensive TVs. Its saved many million temper tantrums and hissy fits over its 15+ year tenure. You can't just ignore such a hallowed invention as state save. It's almost like time travel, and it will one day pave the way. Such a glorious creation must be kept well, looked after, and babied. If its having issues, it should be top priority to fix. This issue with state save needs to be remedied immediately. Its not something that can just be left until later. This is vital. Lives are at risk lets remember. If someone has a severed artery at their heart, you can't just say "We will fix it when we got time" .... Its a thing like that to the emulator with state save. Its important. So, do what must be done. Fix this crucial bug, so people can play with state save with wii remotes, instead of risking peoples live, and hard earned money. Thank you.
Sincerely, a life-long gamer, who's been using emulators with state save since the nesticle days.
