Wii Remotes disconnect?

Whenever I run a ISO of any wii game, in yellow text at the top it says "Wii Remote 1 Disconnected" and even though the remote is connected via bluetooth it still doesn't work. How do I go about fixing this? I just open the dolphin emu, run a wii game, and then it automatically disconnects the wii remote.

And yes, it is a real wiimote, not a emulated wiimote, even though it does this to emulated wiimotes too.
