Hi.

New person here. I have a Dolphin Bar plugged into my HTPC and use two Wii Remotes in mode 4 as actual Wii controllers on Dolphin 5.x. I also use an XBox One controller (newest wireless model) for Gamecube control. For Wii games is it possible to use the XB1 controller on those titles that support Classic or Classic Pro control modes without manually disabling Wii Remote settings?

I'm referring to this section in the guide: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Configuring_Controllers#Real_Wiimote

It appears that I can use a custom emulated controller setting or use "Hybrid" and select an appropriate extension in the dropdown. But I see that there is no option to set an extension when using the real Wiimote setting.

My preference:
- The game that supports a Pro controller can be custom set to use the XB1 instead of the Wiimote without making manual changes.

My suspicion:
- This is not possible using the Dolphin Bar. It may be possible, however, to purchase an *actual* classic controller and plug it into the Wiimote and connecting via the Bar.

Could someone clarify what's do-able and not do-able for me?

Thanks very much.

From https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-howto-using-gameini-settings-per-game
Choosing Wiimote source per game (emulated wiimote, real wiimote, etc.):
Wiimote source numbers start from 0 for wiimote 1, 1 for wiimote 2, etc.
[Controls]
WiimoteSource0 = 0 (will set wiimote1 to "None", 1 for "Emulated Wiimote", 2 for "Real Wiimote", 3 for "Hybrid Wiimote")

Also if you need to
[Controls]
WiimoteProfile1 = profilename

So I'm still having some trouble setting a per game profile up successfully. Just to be clear my goal is to use the Wii Remote + Dolphin Bar by default and then use a profile to override and use the Xbox One controller for that game.

To use Xenoblade Chronicles as an example, I tried setting the Wii Remote setting to "emulated Wii Remote" and then saving a custom profile with "Extension" set to Classic using the Xbox controller and saving the profile as "Xbox One".

After resetting the default to "real Wii Remote", I tried using this in the game ini but it doesn't work:

[Controls]
WiimoteProfile1 = Xbox One

I assume I'm using this incorrectly, but I can't find any guidance in either the thread or the wiki for how to set up a profile correctly.

It would be
[Controls]
WiimoteSource0 = 1
WiimoteProfile1 = Xbox One

Am I referring to the correct profile (the one saved in the "emulated remote" config) or should I be making one from scratch?

Sorry, just being a bit of a wet hen there. It works marvelously, thank you!
