Is there a way to use the pointer and have it follow your Mouse instead of staying fixed in the middle?

When configuring your emulated Wiimote, right click the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons, then you should get a pop-up box with options in the Input section (you may need to select the appropriate Device first). Scroll all the way down. Instead of Cursor X+/X- and Cursor Y+/Y-, just replace them with Axis X+/X- and Axis Y+/Y-.
