Hi,

I got a Wii Remote Plus, it's the second version (RVL-CNT-01-TR) and followed this guide to connect it:

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Wii_Remote_Plus_(RVL-CNT-01-TR)_Connection_Guide

It was working, but the Toshiba Bluetooth stack only worked for 30 days, now it asks me to obtain a licence, which I can't find.

How do I get around this?

You are using it on hardware that Toshiba hasn't given a license too, and they want monies. The way around it is to pay them money and buy a license. Sorry.

Of course, there are other methods, but you are on your own with that.

Would happily give them money if they allowed me too. Guess I'll have to get a different bluetooth adapter.

The Recommend Accessories page has a Toshiba Stack Bluetooth adapter that doesn't run into the licensing problem. It's what I use (at least before my DolphinBar anyway). Also, you could just get a DolphinBar, also on the recommended accessories page, and not only have -TR support but many additional benefits.

Nice, never heard of DolphinBar, might get that! Thanks.

Toshiba doesn't sell licenses anymore. In other words, if your BT dongle isn't oficially supported, Toshiba stack will stop after 30 days. There's no *legal* way around that...

Previously we've realised the forums rules don't ban talk of piracy when it's not something Dolphin can emulate, and regulars here have even linked to cracked Toshiba Stack versions. What's changed to make everyone so cautious all of a sudden?

Regulars, not a moderator + wiki admin + article writer with their name plastered all over the main site. One has to be a little careful in my position.

Oh, right, forgot about that.
