If I remember correctly, there are Wii remote plus controllers with the plus feature built-in, and then there is an add-on adapter to snap onto the bottom of a normal wii remote shown here: https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Adapter-Or...DNEWTJCHTE
I am interested in putting in the work to get bluetooth passthrough working for a wii remote with the plus adapter, but my first question is whether it makes any difference between using a controller with the plus feature built-in, or an original wii remote with the plus adapter for playing games such as Skyward Sword using bluetooth passthrough relative to the following tutorials.
Next I want to verify that these tutorials are the best way to go to achieve the best compatibility and performance.

My final question is whether the BT chip in the tutorial: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32979685940.html
is better than yanking a chip out of my Nintendo Wii, or is that not possible?
Thank you in advance for any help provided!
