Thanks. I got them all working individually. The most I have paired at once is two. For the record, inside the battery compartment, my third-party remotes are labeled "RVL-036."

The only exception is if Dolphin gives you an "No usable adapter found" error at boot, in that case you should manually add the VID and PID of your particular BT Adapter into Dolphin.iniThis is helpful to know. Thanks. (01-29-2021, 09:59 AM)mbc07 Wrote: The Bluetooth portion of Intel Wi-Fi Cards are very finicky with BT Passthrough. If you connect only one Wiimote, they work flawlessly, the moment you try to connect a second Wiimote, all sorts of issues starts happening (random disconnects, severe lag, broken audio, pairings not remembered, etc.).This seems to be what happened with my AC9260. If your BT Adapter is picked without editing the .ini file but doesn't work properly, manually editing the INI or trying another USB driver won't improve anything in most cases. Also, the only thing that manually deleting SYSCONF and btdinf.bak can fix is the case where you're using a BT Adapter that you're sure that can remember pairings yet the Wiimotes doesn't stay paired after closing the game.I have two BT adapters in my computer: native AC9260 on the motherboard and a USB dongle (BT 4.0 CSR8510 A10). I edited the .ini file to ensure that Dolphin will see only the BT 4.0 CSR8510 A10. Regardless, when you press 1+2/red sync button on the Wiimote and click "Refresh" (or if you have "Continuous Scanning" enabled) on the emulator, Dolphin will automatically take care of unregistering the paired Wiimotes before trying to connect to them again if necessary. If you still want to start fresh regardless, you can remove the paired Wiimotes through the Windows "Bluetooth and other devices" page in the Settings app...Resetting and syncing in Dolphin and pressing the internal red sync button on the third-party controllers did the trick. I thought I had tried this before, but I must have left out a step.
It now seems that every time I restart Dolphin, I need to resync the third-party controllers I want to use, and this has to be done only with the internal red sync button on each controller. This is doable, just a pain. It would be more acceptable if all I had to do was click "A" or "1 and 2" on each controller.
I'm thinking about drilling a hole into each controller battery cover to make this process simpler. But might there be another measure I can take. Does using the modified Wii BT adapter mitigate this problem, or is the problem likely to still exist. I will have to see if this problem exists only in Bluetooth Passthrough, or if it also exists in Emulated Wii Controller. |
