Wii Remote Plus (Motion Plus) Support?

That may have been true some time ago, how long ago did you test? There was new development since then and it may work now. It does for some people.

This morning. Latest build. Stable release. Pre stable. It doesn't matter. I'm just sayin. Maybe it's not all 3rd party remotes. To say it is would be loony since I can't comment on how any of them are made or how they are different. I'd love to speak to someone in the know of how these are constructed....ahem...the developer should have some insight....

I may buy a 3rd party remote, will let you guys know about the results once I bought it. Kinda hard to find the original remote plus over here.

I think I have the same wiimote as debennett2 and my dont work with Motion Plus games at all on pc I wood like this to get fix so if theres anything I can do to dump it plz tell me and I will take it apart etc.. do anything to make this happen. Sad

so will there be a way to emulate this on a controller or mouse + keyboard setup? Maybe a combination of both?. Because I wont buy a controller for a console I dont have...

This is an excellent point.

I used to own a Wii, and as soon as I got a 1080p LCD, I SOLD it, because it looked HORRIBLE.

There are only 2 games, which I have any interest in playing. SMarioG2, which is presently working and playable! [color=#00BFFF]Awesome job Dolphin staff![/color]

And the 2nd title, is now Skyward Sword. But I do not wish, to buy $80 worth of accessories, just to play ONE game, and then NEVER use these accessories ever again.

I truly hope, that someone who is forward thinking, and is a part of the Dolphin staff, will put this forward as a revision, for the next update.

I'm sure, that there are MANY people, who feel the same way. No one, wants to spend money, on accessories, which they will only use, for one game, and then have them sit there, as the console is pretty much at the end of its lifespan, and Nintendo is already announced the release of their new system.

Please add wiimotion+ soft emulation, in whatever way works, providing a close approximation of the actual device. Close is good enough. Just make it, so that we can play Skyward Sword!!! Smile

I don't think you guys understand how good we have it. Do you realize that we get to use the intended controllers with the games? I can't say that about any of my other emulators without hardware mods or dongles. I'd love to be able to pick up an old ataari 2600 joystick and plug it in to my htpc and just go.

I'm not putting down your request, I'm just questioning how you are trying to sell the need to the developers.
