Although I do not like Skyward Sword art style as I do with that of Twilight Princess, the former still looks good and seems to be fun to play. So I decide to get a Wii Remote Plus to play it. I intend to have a friend from Germany buy it for me Tongue.

But I don't have the Wii, so I am still confuse. Can you guys take your time help me with some questions?
  1. PAL games are different from NTSC counterparts. Is it the same for a Wiimote from EU and one from the US?
  2. Is the Wiimote Plus fully compatible with Skyward Sword in Dolphin or I need an original Wiimote and a MotionPlus instead?
  3. Can the Nunchuk be attached to the Wii Remote Plus as it does with the original Wiimote?
  4. How long do a pair of rechargeable batteries last on continuous gaming with the Wii Remote/Remote Plus? And what kinda rechargable battery is best in your opinion? The two brands I can think of at the moment are Duracell and Energizer.
  5. Is the Sensor Bar a must? Aside from helping the Wiimote point on the screen, does it have any use? Of course I have to get a wireless one as I don't have a Wii, but I want to know how long does a pair of rechargeable batteries last on it? Yeah it depends on the brand but I just want to know in general.

The golden Remote Plus bundled in the limited edition of Skyward Sword looks awesome indeed, but I don't want to play the game at 25 FPS Sad. I wish it were available for retail.

That would negate the idea of limited edition packaging.

They even have buy it now options available.

Is there any official word about the Wiimote with built-in MotionPlus and Dolphin? I cannot find any reference to the Wii Remote Plus in the guide.

2.Both work with dolphin no problem (old wiimote version) . Gold wiimote is a better choice since i won't risk buying the newest wiimote version (RVL-CNT-01-TR )
3.Yes
4.I'm using Energizer - Japan , it last 6h+ with dolphin , beware those fake (made in china) battery . Duracell is good too
5.You must buy sensor bar for Zelda SS otherwise you can't enter the game

Thank you, admin89. But can you tell me more about the newest Wiimote (RVL-CNT-01-TR)? What's the problem with it? I really don't want to purchase a not-working Wiimote and throw it away because I don't have a Wii to use it with.

Edit: After a quick search, I find that the above mentioned model is neither recognized by Dolphin nor Windows. I don't know if this model is available in Germany or not, but in the worst case, is there any plan to support that Wiimote Plus in the near future?

Actually , it was fixed . However some users report the problem still existing
Built in Motion Plus Wiimote or non built in Motion Plus Wiimote as long as it meet 2 condition :
_It must be an original wiimote , not a fake /third party wiimote
_Older version (RVL-CNT-01) .Read my post #82 and #86

I always use genuine hardware/software whenever possible, except for something like the wireless sensor bar, which cannot be from Nintendo. Unfortunately the Wiimote must be unboxed to tell if it is TR or not. Hopefully it is a non-TR, and if it is, the problem does not exist. Guess it's my luck now.

Thank you for your help.
