Wii remote not staying connected and lights flashing

What happens is that every time I put the batteries in the wii remote just starts flashing the fours lights without it being connected to anything, just as soon as I pop in the second battery bam it starts flashing and doesn't stop. The other thing is that when I connect it (I use Toshiba bluetooth stack) it doesn't stay connected for long and the wii remote just automatically disconnects randomly. I'm sure they are not my batteries as I have tested with 3 pairs of new batteries and still no solution, what could be happening?

Did you try starting a game?

Yep, happens the same, the wii remote disconnects randomly while playing (usually within less than a minute or gameplay)
