I'm using a Wii Motion Plus controller over bluetooth with Metroid Prime 3. I use the minus key to recenter, however I would like auto recenter to work but it doesn't seem to work, and if I tilt my Wii mote back or forward too far the game stops recording input. I would like to have my center at any angle while playing but often I will move to the edge of the screen, which means my Wii mote will be tilted slightly, and then input is lost due to being too tilted. How can I fix this?
Wii Remote input lost if I tilt back too far

This is happening because Wii games include a failsafe to disable the pointer if the accelerometer data indicates that the Wii Remote is pointing too far up or down. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about this other than blocking the game from receiving accelerometer data, which would break parts of the game's controls.
