Wii remote disconnects in the middle of games

I recently bought the recommended bluetooth dongle and a brand new Nintendo manufactured wii remote. I'm using the Toshiba Bluetooth stack and I'm trying to play Skyward Sword. The Wii remote will connect and work fine, but after a few minutes of gameplay it starts getting seriously laggy, Link not moving until more than a second after I press the control stick. The sword gets all wonky and won't stay straight, and then I receive no response at all and my wii remote completely shuts down and I have to restart my game. It's also disconnecting from the Toshiba Bluuetooth settings. I don't know what to do here, I bought exactly what was recommended and I can't even make it 30 minutes into my game without having to shut it off and try again.

Please let me know if you need any more info than I provide below. Here are my specs:

Bluetooth - Azio BTD-V201
Wii Remote - Nintendo Wii Remote Plus

CPU - Intel i5-4570
Motherboard - GA-H87M-HD3
RAM - Corsair 2x4GB @ 1600Mhz
HDD - Seagate Barracude 1TB
GPU - MSI GTX 650
PSU - SeaSonic X750
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

Running Dolphin version 4.0-613 x64

I have continuous scanning enabled currently. I had it disabled before, but enabling it didn't seem to make a difference.

I believe I may have solved my problem. I moved my bluetooth dongle from the rear usb ports to my front usb ports. After an hour of playing I have had zero disconnects and zero instances of lagging or wonkiness. If anyone else has a similar issue try minimizing the distance between your bluetooth dongle and your wii remote!

Good catch, I believe it was more do to interference. BT devices should be put away from the backs of computers.
