Hey all.
My humble apologies if I'm spamming a common problem for the umpteenth time. I've spent all day researching forums/yt videos for this kinda thing and I'm so frustrated/jaded/confused I was hoping I could post here and get some answers.
So, I downloaded the latest version of Dolphin (it says 3.0-887 in the Dolphin top-bar, dunno if that helps) and I've managed to grab an .iso for a game I wanna play (Xenoblade Chronicles, beautiful game btw).
I've managed to connect my Wii-Remote to my bluetooth and have been able to connect it to Dolphin -- that is, when I select the Wii configurations and do the whole 1+2 Refresh thing, the wiimote vibrates and the config. window says: "1 Connected". My wii remote's 1st square is lit up blue.
The problem where I am stuck is that it isn't doing anything once I boot up a game. I'm kinda just stuck at the title screen.... and maybe I'm REALLY dumb here, but do I need a sensor bar in order to get the wii remote to work? I've tried the weird candle thing but I really don't understand how that works.... I was under an impression that with bluetooth it was automatic?
Reminder, I'm working on a Mac with OSX 10.7.5.
I've also downloaded Darwiin and was able to connect to that (NOT simultaneously while connected with Dolphin...again, maybe another duh moment), but I'm not sure if Darwiin is even relevant for this?
If anyone could help me out I would really really appreciate it! My tv broke and I've been dying to get back into Xenoblade so I'd truly appreciate any help! I just got this Mac so I'm so n00b with a lot of the features/lingo for this kinda stuff. Again, my apologies if this is a common problem, but sifting through Mac/Windows topics is hella confusing.
