I'd also like to go on to say that after finding this bug, I've noticed activating dual core for several games actually decreases my performance. I have an intel Pentium G3258 overclocked at 4.7Ghz. One title in particular is Skies of Arcadia Legends, with Dual Core on there is noticable drop in frames every 10-15 seconds. With Dual Core off, its buttery smooth. Its possible that it has something to do with the process itself since it's only dual core with no threads.

Do you think this is a bug in 5.0 or it just doesn't agree with my hardware? Is there a better place/thread for this finding(bug tracker)?

Yeah, this should be a bug (if it was hardware-related I probably wouldn't have it). You should definitely report it on the bug tracker.

The game is 60 FPS for all of the menus and movies, but when I get into a fight after the little movie, it dips down to 30 for the whole match. Any way to fix this?

As long as the game speed is still 100% that is how it's supposed to work

Also it looks like the first post of this thread needs to be fixed.
