Hi
I am trying to play mario galaxy 2 on dolphin 4.0 with a logitech f310 and i am not able to control the wii pointer. I set the IR control in the options but i cant get it to move. I am using emulated remote. I have a dell optiplex 9010 i5 processor with intel onboard graphics card and windows 7 x64. When i start to play mario galaxy 2 , it doesnt even show the cursor on the screen. its not even in the middle.

If i play mario galaxy 2 on dolphin 3.5 on the same computer, the wii pointer works fine and its there the in the middle of the screen the whole game and i can move it with the controls that i set it to on my controller.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks

Have a logitech f310 myself game works fine on 4.0 there can be something you aren't setting up correctly. Make sure you have the switch on the back of the f310 set to the X and not the other one other than that make sure you are editing the right controls and picking the right controller.

Well im not sure what you said in your post but i saw that IR sensitivity was all the way down so moved that up a bit and enabled UDP remote (dont know what that does) and now the IR pointer works so thanks.

Do you know how I can increase FPS? I am getting only 30-50 when there is alot going on. on 3.5, i dont seem to have that issue. it seems to run better on 3.5.

what do you think?

There where a bunch of other people who said games ran smoother on the older versions, I see that you have integrated graphics so if you are trying to run the game at a higher internal resolution setting with AA that might be causing your issue in the newer setting. Otherwise I can't tell you why you have bad fps in the newer version. Maybe you have per pixel lighting turned on? I myself get bad fps with per pixel lighting turned on and I have to drop my SSAAx4 down to AAx4 to maintain a stable 60 fps at 4xir.
