I am trying to send inputs programmatically to dolphin, using UNIX pipes, to play MarioKart Wii.
Firstly is it possible to programmatically send Wii inputs? The wiki page only mentions GameCube controllers, but I assumed the steps are the same.
The pipe controller appears in the wiimote config dialog, but always says '[disconnected] Pipe/0/pipe' in the device drop-down.
The pipes current location is ~/.dolphin-emu/ (I tried creating a Pipes directory but dolphin would not launch with error :
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::filesystem::__cxx11::filesystem_error'
what(): filesystem error: cannot get file size: Operation not supported [/home/steve/.dolphin-emu/Pipes/pipe]

Thank you in advance for any help.
