There doesn't seem to be any pauses more like the song is going in a mild slow motion.

I did a play-through recently with the GameCube version and despite Hyrule field it was a 5 star experience. If it's not any worse then some small percentage drops I can stand anything.
You got to have patience in some parts of the field when certain events are about to happen but it was smooth still.
I actually didn't switch to DSP HLE one single time during that play-trough, it's completely bearable.

His drops should not be huge compared to mine.
Besides DSP HLE is always selectable.

You shouldn't really have to OC a Sandybridge i5 2500K or i7 2600K enable to enjoy these games.

Well this is certainly agree with, and both Twillight Princess and Skyward Sword for that matter are excellent games and without a doubt playable with his, yours and my own rigSmile

Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword is two of the best The Legend of Zelda games to date and I actually thought Skyward Sword would be heavier then Twilight Princess to emulate.
Turns out Skyward Sword was a piece of cake to emulate and runs full speed all the time.

There will be a day when slowdowns is a thing of the past.
As the work progresses with the emulator continuously and newer kick as CPU's gets released we're going to see a whole new experience.

Well let's just say that in the beginning the speed drops isn't that bad when using DSP LLE.
It's sometime after the 2nd dungeon on Death Mountain it's starting to show some bigger speed drops.

To complete the game to that point I would say we are talking about a few hours if you know your way around.

In this game there's not a huge difference between the two sound wise.
Some sound effects is properly emulated with DSP LLE and can prevent howling stone crashes. DSP HLE is great for absolute full speed.

Here's a good read regarding HLE and LLE:

If you just wanna feel Hyrule field in it's complete form, there is some complete saves to be found at GameFaqs.

You just use the data.bin and import it with Wii save import from Dolphin.

For some reason, whenever I try to launch TP, I get the message "Dolphin.exe has stopped working...". I've double-checked the settings and I'm pretty sure I have them all correct. I ripped the ISO from the disc using CleanRip...is it just a corrupt file? Should I try ripping it again? Thanks.
