Hey,

okay Davis i understand your "experimental" intention! ;-) It's always amazing to see if the hardware of the wii can be transformed into software on the pc i suggest, therefore i understand your thoughts!

But for all the others who are obtaining problems with this game on dolphin, i think there's NO MUST to play this on the emulator due to the fact, that this game was released 26th of february on pc.. i only wanted to mention this..^^ Because i guess the emulator is there to make things possible on pc, which you only could enjoy on the wii, but if the existence of an appropriate version for pc is clear, then.. you know what i mean.. there's also no covenant to follow my advise, so..

Good Evening!

KoC

I absoloutly agree with KingofCrunk , whoever wants to play this game on the best possible experience shall get it for Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS or PC.
Still i was pretty amazed how good it worked out in Dolphin , which I think is a great thing to see in the progress of Dolphins developement.

OK I suck, i got the pc version Tongue it looks pretty nice though, but it doesn't have online, can't configure the controls and for split screen you need a 360 controller.
i made myself a glovepie script for the use of the wiimote and its awesome, this game is a lot of fun! i might dare say even more than mario kart wii Tongue
*prepares for lynching*

i might get this for the wii for my lil brother.

are the characters in the wii version normal mapped? the textures in the pc and 360 version look awesome. (for this type of game..)

If you can't run the pc version.. then you cannot run this game in dolphin..
My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz - w7/Ubuntu 11.04

I borrowed the PC version from a friend today , and while the graphics are slightly better , it's realy poorly made. as Apostacious already stated. The Keyboard controlls are awfull , the only gamepad the game recognizes is a original Xbox 360 Gamepad , I had to use Xinput (emulating a Xbox 360 Gamepad) for it to recognize my speed-link 360 gamepad. In addition to that there's no online mode. Seems like Sega went the "there is too much pirating with Pc games , therefore we won't make the afford to give you a proper PC version" way , which tends to gain popularity among a lot of game developers lately.

And there's no antialiasing and can't be forced by your graphics drivers Tongue

there's no online thing for pc is because they didn't wanna make new a system, the pc version is a total port of the 360 version.
there's already an established online system for the other platforms so it was no big deal for them.

maybe they'll release a patch later, this isn't new behavior, a pc game developer rule is to release fast, release often and fix bugs later.

but its not the same, if you lets say play this game in the pc version with the minimum reqs you'll be full speed, dolphin with the same specs? not so much...

Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing
Minimum System Requirements:
Processor : Intel Pentium IV at 3.2 GHz / Athlon 64 3000+ or equivalent processor
Video Card : 256 MB VRAM – DirectX 9.0c Compliant video card (nVidia GeForce 7600 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better)

even the recommended are too weak to play this game at a good speed in dolphin
Recommended System Requirements:
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.4Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ or better
Video Card : 512 MB VRAM – nVidia GeForce 8800 or better, ATI Radeon HD 3800 series or better
My Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 940 3.0ghz - w7/Ubuntu 11.04
