Is there a way to implement overclocking of the wii's cpu? The reason i'm asking is because some games don't even go full speed on the wii and i was wondering if overclocking the cpu would alleviate some of the problems.

Probably with a Wii homebreaw app.
![]() But I don´t think it´s a good idea to mess with a console´s CPU. ![]() Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

@DatKid20
Dolphin doesn't emulate the CPUs clock rate (or at least not in an accurate way as that would be painfully slow). Dolphin will run these games at fullspeed if your system is fast enough to handle it, even if a real wii can't. @DJBarry004 I don't think the wii has a programmable PLL system or any of the other components necessary for overclocking. So I doubt you could do that with a homebrew app.
