Hi guys, new guy to the forums, been using Dolphin for years and recently got a Wiimote and Nunchuk to finally relive some of my old Wii games and move on from my Gamecube games. Anywho, I've been playing a lot of Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 and I've noticed that the analog stick seems off for some reason. I'm using a licensed Nintendo Wiimote and Nunchuk along with the Real Wiimote option in Dolphin (obviously) connected through a bluetooth dongle and everything works fine except for this problem. I've played many platformers with analog sticks since the Playstation and N64, so I could tell this problem right off the bat.

Above I've provided a crappy paint image of what the average analog stick feels like to me. The black lines are "static" and represent the direction they point in and what the game reads from the controller when you have the stick pushed in those directions. The green area is essentially the "analog" area, which I believe is pretty much self-explanatory (I've probably already made this entire thing more complicated than it needs to be).

Above is another crappy image of what I perceive to be the nunchuk analog stick's "diagonal" orientation. For some reason, the nunchuk feels like the analog range is much less than a typical controller. I'll be running forward in Mario and where as a normal game will make the player slightly adjust movement in whichever direction I tilt the stick in, this does not happen in Super Mario Galaxy 1 OR 2. Mario keeps running forward until eventually he just make a direct switch in movement to the diagonal that I was edging my stick toward (the deadzones feel a lot worse than the image looks). This wouldn't be such a big issue if it didn't constantly cause my untimely death when I know for a fact that Mario should have been running in the direction I was pointing. So my question is... is there a way to adjust the diagonal parameters for the nunchuk? I have the official licensed Nintendo nunchuk with the octagonal stick "orientation" and I even bought a Nyko nunchuk with a round "orientation" to make sure that it wasn't just my perception and the same thing happens with that nunchuk too. I'm fairly certain this isn't a game issue since it happens on both Galaxy 1 and 2 and the octagonal stick isn't the problem either so maybe it's an inherent Wii problem?
Thank you in advance for sifting through my nonsensical post guys. Any help is appreciated!
