Does anybody have a good working combination of dolphin revision / plugins for this game ?
Using new emulator revisions (46XX+), i cannot get higher FPS than 15-20.
Using 3367 and the *.ini from 4657, the game runs great but the sound cuts off every now and then which makes the experience a bit lacking.

Thanks !

Edit : With 3390 , using recommended settings from the first page of this post, disabling "Lock threads to cores" and enabling "Other Audio (Throttle)", the game seems to be a bit more playable though still having heavy problems with audio. After doing some testing, the problem in general with the game is that it is CPU hungry. I'm running the emu on an Intel T7500 Dual Core CPU which doesn't seem to be enough for this game to run properly @ 30 FPS +.

Alright,

After playing around with 3390 , two important things i've come across.

First, like someone mentioned in another post, pausing the game and resuming fixes the lost sound problem. This isn't so bad to do once in a while.

Second, and most importantly, the game slows down as i progress through my career. I could re-create this a few times simply by starting a new career. At the begining of a career, the game is fully playable as i'm getting between 40-60 solid FPS. I can start seeing significant slow downs at I begin the Major Circuit. The game becomes mostly unplayable as I arrive at Bear Huger.

Could this be caused by switching arenas and arriving in a place with more spectators / lighting / flashes ?

Has anyone had success finishing this game without a problem on similar specs as these :

Dell Inspiron 1520
Intel T7500 2.2GHz CPU
Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT
2 GB RAM

I'd really enjoy playing this game in HD on my laptop, though i'm running out of hope.

The sound loss issue seems to be gone Smile
Still though, sound doesn't seem to be 100% perfect...or that's just because the game is still a bit slow at times...

That is weird, no 1 else having issues with the real nunchuk when trying to punch with your left fist?
Real Wiimote works fine, but the nunchuck motion sensor is just not as senstive as the one from the wiimote.
It almost doesnt respond to acceleration ingame wise at all.
But if you go under Wiimote/Recording and check the accel/gravity of ur nunchuk, its working just fine.. i did a patch for that isue, and it fixed the issue almost, just some tweaking needed, but well if no one else is having that issue???
Please give feeedback, thx.

i just patched the "visualisaton" of those values not the values or resp. the threshold itself.
I am messing around right now with the threshold, i had some promising(i hop they were not just randomBig Grin) results, so it might fix the punch out issue, but nonethless, the nunchuk reacts slighty slower than the wiimote. I still have to do some testing, and i need a second wii game that uses the nunchuk accel/gravity so i know i dont fix one game and dont screw with the other one.
To add one more information, the dolphin code atm treats the accel/gravity/threshold from the nunchuk just like the one from the wiimote, which must be wrong obviously, because i have to treat both different to get the same visualisation.

Hi, readed all pages and couldnt find anyone with my problem. So, to start, i have a C2D 2.6Ghz, 2GB ram, HD 4850 in XP/32 bits (I know, i need to buy some more ram :p)

Problem is that im getting 40 fps in Exhibition/Practice but 10 fps in Career mode making it unenjoyable (i can play like that a match but not all, lol). My guess is something involving crowd cause they look croped and with some texture issues like black squares... and since in Practice there is no crowd, maybe thats the key.

Oh, Im using r4983 and i have Punch Out PAL version.

Thanks.

I am using this build

http://www.dolphin-emu.org/

64 bit

And I have the setting the same as listed here. By far the best I have ever had on this game.. getting about 30-35 fps in game. Recommend you all try this build.
