You still fail, all NTSC isos freeze every 5-10 minutes (when legally dumped). It can't be that it doesn't freeze at all.

Hi all, just found out about Dolphin a few days ago and I thought I'd give it a try. I've done as much reading and research as I could, but I'm still a bit confused. Trying out the New Super Mario Bros. and it didn't work on build r4525. It has that looping problem that I read was fixed with a newer version, so I updated to build r4641.
Upon updating, the program didn't recognize my Plugin_PadSimple.dll plugin, so I replaced it with the Plugin_PadSimple.dll from the previous build. This fixed that problem, but now when I run the game it returns this error: Quote:FIFOs linked but out of sync Here are my game settings: I don't really know what any of the settings do, so I thought it'd be easiest to post screenshots of what my current configuration is. I'm running on Windows 7 64-bit. Thanks for the help! 12-05-2009, 06:56 AM

Wait, how do you have Unlimited JIT Cache and Watchdog in 4641? I don't have those options...

Thanks sok98, changing those settings seems to have gotten rid of the FIFO error but now my game is stuck on this screen:
How come my Dolphin program is SVN R4641, but the game opens in SVN R4525? Also, what's VPS and should I be concerned that it's so high? Currently 2053/60 (3422%) 12-05-2009, 07:43 AM

Unlimited JIT cache is no longer required, it's a useless option now. I don't understand why he doesn't remove the option from his builds since it is no longer needed. Also, from what I've tested the watchdog patch doesn't seem to offer any benefits, no games ran any faster by using or including this option. Any of these so called benefits the watchdog option offers seems to merely be a placebo effect, if someone claims something improves performance everyone automatically believes it even if it doesn't offer any performance advantages.
Hence why I don't include these options in my builds, because for the most part these options are useless and tend to cause more problems than it's worth to include these options. In case anyone is wondering, the unlimited JIT hack/fix is no longer needed since LinesProwers JIT fixes, even the developers of Dolphin have said so. 12-05-2009, 07:46 AM
Uncheck Dual Core, if having a high FPS pisses you off.
Also update your revision, the newer builds are practically made for New Super Mario Bros.
