(PAL) Hi, I tried your settings except, what do you mean by "Of course I had to put the two files in from the gamecube emulator as always" I am really new to this, (2nd day) and dont know what this means. I still get the out of sync problem in the first level. I am using nstc, is that the problem? if so is there a way to change it to pal? thanks

I also get the wiimote sync error at times (using build 4631), but it doesn't affect playing the game in any way, controls still work fine. I am using keyboard (and gamepad via xpadder since I don't think 2d mario game should have motion sensing controls). Should wiimote sync error cause some problems?
Save states have been corrupted a couple of times though. Mostly they work fine, but there have been a couple of cases when loading the save state only brings out black screen (sound is still playing in the background). I have only saved states in map view. 12-02-2009, 10:17 PM
Hi guys...
I hate using savestates and relying on quicksave and exit every level is not helping everyone, specialy those of us hunting all star coins secrets etc. So here what I accidently found usefull... I was just about to enter world 3 and offcourse it asked my to save after castle2 then a message came up reminding that I could spend starcoins in princess castle level1 so I noticed that only missed starcoin castle1 and after I got that one and offcourse beat the bowser at the end it again asked me to save! So long story short.. if you don't want quicksave+savestate, just complete Level1 castle for the 2nd/3rd... gazillion times Hope this help someone out there... happy hunting

it plays at full speed for me, with some very minor pausing and slow downs that don't disrupt gameplay at all. i still would like to be able to play it in the silky smoothness that it was made to be played in though.

R 4635, desync every 5-10 min. And this is THE ONLY problem for me. vielhuber, nosound97, do you use the real Wii Remote?

Here are some stats for my own build.
My System: Windows 7 64-bit Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz GeForce GTX260 My Build (Built with MSVS2010 Beta 2): r4636M OpenCL JITIL 64-bit build I didn't profile the binary this time around but I will next time. There may or may not be gains with profiling. On the world map I get 70-75 FPS In regular levels I get 60-70 In the castles I get 70-80 On the boss battles I get 100+ I'm going to cap my FPS to 60 because the boss battles are unplayable with that speed. Graphics settings (only listing settings that are enabled): D3D9 16:9 1600x900 windowed 16xQ CSAA Enable CPU->EFB Access Enable 16x anisotropy filtering Disable Fog EFB Copy Enabled -> To Texture Audio settings: DSP-HLE Enable HLE audio Enable DTK music DSound The game basically works perfect. When exiting a level and returning to the world map, everything will be teal in color, but all you have to do is press start and everything returns to normal. Other than that, I don't know if I'm missing any graphics because fog is disabled, but I do know that I'm missing a lot more with it enabled. |
