I couldn't map keys to my second controller (Logitech RumblePad 2) earlier.

It worked fine mapping it as a gamepad though but no matter what I tried it refused to work as a wiimote. To fix it, I had to disable it as a gamepad, then all of a sudden it worked fine mapping it as a wiimote. Apparently I could not have that controller running as both wiimote and gamepad at the same time, though that worked fine for my first controller.

First make sure you have EFB copy to texture enabled.

However, that is probably not your issue. What you are most likely doing wrong is having the game run on the wrong screen (as that will cut your FPS in exactly half, for some reason). To solve it, either configure the game to switch it so your currently display is the main display for the game, or run the game on your secondary screen.

The game runs at 60 FPS at all times on my mid-class rig using core i7. And that's with max Anti-aliasing, hi-res textures and 16x aniostropy filtering.

With the latest revs and with the DX9 plugin this game is very near perfect for me. The only significant problem I can find is that the background is messed up on this water level.

In earlier revs (47xx) more levels had messed up backgrounds with the DX9 plugin, plus some objects didn't appear to have any shading. The shading issues appear to have been completely resolved in 48xx revs and most of the backgrounds appear correctly with DX9–just need these last few backgrounds fixed and this game will be as perfect as it needs to be.

Is someone also encountering this:
I am using a logitech cordless rumblepad 2, that is mapped to the keyboard using xpadder. Since some last revisions (I've tested a r485x and r486x), I can use propeller blocks correctly, however the roll left/right and pitch up/down is not working correctly anymore: rolling right behaves the same way like rolling left does

For example, it doesn't matter if I roll left or right, or pitch up or down: I am not able to let the platform in this screenshot go upright:

It has nothing to do with the gamepad, since using the keyboard gives the same results.

I have full FPS at all times except in some castles. I recall a castle where there is a wizard randomly casting some magic balls while you make your way up that reduces the fps quite a bit (to around 40).

In Wii Remote plugin config try to activate sideways wiimote and deactivate upright wiimote. that worked for me when i had the same probelm.
