I too am having this problem. i have 2 xbox 360 wireless controllers. 1st one can be set fine and 1 player works well, but i cannot map 2nd controller. As soon as i try to config wiimote 2 i cant map any button to the 2nd controller regarldless of selecting it under "gamepad". only input that is recognised is from the 1st controller. I tried using XPadder for the second controller and mapping keyboard buttons but then when ingame i can't get the controller connected after selecting "2 players", ie. "press 2" to connect 2nd player.

Bit stupid of windows to not number the controllers.

Control panel > Game Pad
Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows)
Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows)

You think that there would be a way to identify them easily for mapping purposes.
Don't know what i did, but ended up getting it to work fine in the end. I remapped everything on the first controller then went into 2nd controller and everything was fine.
In game must use
Alt F6 to enable player 2.

I did the settings then started the game from keyboard. I think as player 1. In menu add a player it says but I couldn't set joystick as player 2.
Mm....You mean when you go to Tools and click on connect Wiimote 2, only 1 player works?

Is it still normal to loose the connection to the wii mote "all the time" ? When I'm playing, I'm hoping to make it to the castle so I can save. I think this all the time while playing.. Is it just me or does everybody loose the connection now and then?

First off, Dolphin is a great emulator and I appreciate everyone's hard work that goes into making it so great. However, I have an issue with New Super Mario Bros. (NTSC). I have recently finished the game and now I am going back through it to get all of the star coins and I noticed there are a few levels I have not played; one of these are World 4 level 3. Unfortunately I am unable to play this level. Whenever I play the level if I die or try to complete it Dolphin crashes on me. I am not sure if it has been reported as a problem or if anyone else is having this same problem. I thought I would mention it though. I am using Dolphin-x64-r4826. Thanks in advance for any tips or help anyone may provide.
