SnowPin: Hm, strange problem...maybe the saving makes a request to a hdd of yours that goes to sleep after a few minutes? Maybe deactivate the hdd going to sleep option in windows energy management *shrug*

I suggest just sticking with DX9. At least until the bugs in OpenGL get worked out (strange polygons, missing polygons, flickering backgrounds, missing textures).

what are you talking about? opengl is perfect, d3d is the one that has the bugs.

OpenGL has some problems with polygons and Direct3D lacks shading. Both are not perfect.

Once i got killed on a level and when i appeared the the worldmap, mario was all bloated and polygons where shooting everywhere lol, nothing like that has ever happened to me since. to me the d3d bugs are far more annoying.

dx9 only has that "missing shading on textures"-issue...still, I played through the game with DX9, kinda felt more smoothly with full eye-candy.
he's talking about background flickering in some levels of world 8.
Also Mario's eyes are missing in the item screen (that guy seems to lose them quite often Wink )

Using OpenGL, I get background flickering in lots of levels. Particularly one's where you're up in the air jumping around on the tops of giant mushrooms (2-6, for example). Also, there's some less noticeable flickering in most of the castle levels.

Also, today I noticed that when using the DX plugin, parts of some level's backgrounds get turned sideways. Maybe later today I'll take screenshots of all the problems with both video modes...if I'm feeling ambitious in that way.

I have a problem when I play in multiplayer. After one or two minutes, controls won't work anymore (for both players), only in NSMB...
There is no error or anything, if a key was pressed she stays this way and the game continue...
I tried to deconnect/reconnect wiimotes in "tools" but it doesn't change anything.
It happens wether I play with keyboard/keyboard or 360pad/keyboard. (I don't have a real wiimote)
Does anyone has the same problem ? should I create an issue ?

(sorry for my english)

we have the same problem. i think this is a bug that we can not play multi well .

i use the version dolphinr4754 to play NSMB with my friend . I play with PS2 joypad and my friend play with keyboard. After few minutes
dolphin says 2p lost connect . soon i click tool--connect wiimote 2 to active keyboard. few minutes after we all lost connect without a war
warning window. why is there somebody who can help me . thank u !
and here is a information : when i press home and i see wiimote 2 quantity of electric charge is over. soon 2p lost connect
