Sounds like a bad dsp rom dump. How big are the files?

Nope. The dumps are good:
8192 Bytes and 4096 Bytes

The reversed stereo channel issue is a real LLE BUG. Here's how to reproduce it:

Grab a green koopa shell and toss it at a wall. Pay attention to the sound it makes when it bounces off the wall: When the shell hits the left wall, the sound effect is played on the right channel (and vice versa).

If you switch to the HLE plugin, you'll notice that the stereo channels are in the correct order.

Besides reversed channels the other issues where fixed with Mylek's masked math (special) patch in the past. In recent revisions LLE is getting nearly as fast as HLE, at least I am getting full speed in ZTP, ZWW, 60 FPS almost consistently in SMG1/SMG2 with some slowdowns, full speed in Resident Evil Remake, NSMB is full speed with some slowdowns every now and then.

@Xtreme: Do you have a recent build with Mylek's patch compiled? I haven't tried the patch yet...so it gets rid of all the crackly sound?

He needs to update the patch again, not sure if it's possible now since he removed the ToMask code for maskless code in the latest revisions.

You have to map the shake commands to one of the keys using the wiimote plugin.

After updating my graphics card, I've finally got this game running at full speed. It's by far the best Mario game yet. I'm trying to play through it slowly and savor every moment, but before too long I will have found all of the secrets. It's okay though, because I just learned about the Reggie level editor. It's amazing that something like this is already available just a year after the game was released. We had to wait about 10 years after the release of Super Mario World before Lunar Magic came out. I've seen a few interesting levels on you tube already, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good hacks for me to try out.

Noob here...was wondering if the AMD folks could recommend a particular x64 build for me to enable the "EFB to RAM" setting without getting terrible slowdowns. My specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4 Ghz
8 GB DDR3 1333 Mhz System Ram
MSI ATI R5770 Hawk X2 in CrossfireX

Thanks for any input!
