The game runs really smooth otherwise, but every time you go down a pipe or I reach that second level in world 1 (meaning you're underground), the game starts crawling. Speed drops to 50% or so and the FPS which is usually a steady 60 goes down to 10 or even less.

I'm using R6298. I also tried an ealier revision (it just says Dolphin 2.0?), which doesn't have this problem, but with this version I get the same wiimote error as maxster1.

Specs are E8500, 4GB, Ati 4870, Win 7 64-bit.

Edit: R6225 works fine.

I'm having this issue, too. How can we fix it on the newer revisions?

Anyway its all working now, so thanks.

Unknown problem with Mario hoping that you can help. Seems like the different layers of the graphics are incorrectly rendered. i.e. Mario's layer is behind other background layers.

Some features are clearly missing from the map view (see attachment 1), including mario.

In the game (attachment 2), Mario and other enermies are literally behind the background items.

Googled and tried many different versions of Dolphin, and different combinations of configs, but still the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Config info:

Version: V2, R4771, R6318, etc..
Enable dual core and idle skipping
JIT recompiler
Direct3D9
Intel 945
Auto aspect ratio
SSAA none
Internal resolution : auto (fractional)
Enable CPU->EFB access
Safe texture cache -> fast
Texture filtering on (force bi/trilinear, anisotropic, hires texture loading)
EFB scaled copy on
Disable fog
Enable EFB copy (to texture)
Use native mipmaps
DSP-HLE (HLE Audio / D Sound only)

I'm having the same problem. Sad
I'm actually using r6304 and works great, but when going down a pipe the fps drops to 2 or 3 (making it completely unplayable) and when going up again, all the textures change to blue/purple. It sucks, cause its the only version of Dolphin that let me play at 60fps, all the other versions only let me play at 20-22fps.
I tried with 2.0, r6321, r6303, r6305,r4628, r6309... all of them let me play the game at a constant 20-22fps, but knowing that my PC can move the game at 60fps, its not enoguh for me Tongue

Any help Sad

Sorry for my bad english Sad

Sorry, my specs:
AMD Phenom X3 8650 @ 2.3ghz (I think that this can be the source of my problems)
4 GB RAM memory
Geforce GTS250
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Enough HDD space

I downloaded some Newest version of the emulator wich are x32, I didn't knew that those x32 works better on my PC, so I downloaded one of those and it worked almost like the r6304 but without having the going-down-the-pipe problem.
But I don't know... I think that it can run better on my PC

Also, I'm having problems on emulating Star Fox Assault (the first boss it's invisible and when there are happening 2 or 3 minor things on screen the fps drops like hell), I can't have my dualshock 3 working (with its tilt functions and sticks)... and now, when pluggin-in my Xbox 360 controller, my PC crashes (getting blue screen, I think its because of MotionJoy that I Downloaded, now uninstalled, but i'm still getting the problem).

Damn, I suck with this emulator things

The dual shock pad can only be used if you successfully install the Motion Joy drivers.

1) Install motion joy drivers
2) Plugin every dualshock pad you want to use via USB
3) Start the drivers in Admin mode
4) In the start screen you should see a pull down menu where you can choose every pad you just plugged in. Assign every dual shock pad as Analog Gamepad 3 and (very important) ENABLE them! This can be found on the same screen under the "left motor" bar.
5) Start Dolphin, open the Wiimote Plugin and search for the Motion Joy gamepads. Voila ... it should work

Important: The enabling thingy has to be done every time you unplug those gamepads.

Oh I just saw that you use Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. There is one thing you to do which I don't have to do as I'm using 32bit. Look at this link

http://www.motioninjoy.com/help/sixaxis-dualshock-3-driver-install-instructions

and look at step 6 and 7. 6 tells you to install, 7 tells you what to do BEFORE installing if you're on Win7 64
