I'm pretty much a newbie with this emulator.. People talk about different builds (r4635) for example, but the website only links to an older version. How do you get these latest builds without compiling sourcecode?

Take a look at http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/forum-6.html

I also have this problem: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/attachment.php?aid=1682

It has only been visible so far in the opening intro and in the end boss at ship level in world 4 so it's not a big deal, but has anyone figured out how to get rid of it?

It hangs after you created a game can choose the number of players. I'm using build 4610.

Thanks everyone, I've solved my problem downloading the SVN4635 and downloading the directX file, now it works great, despite some framerate issues Sad

I was getting frustrated at how slow the game was running for me (30FPS max). Then a post here clued me in to use EFB to Texture instead of RAM, and everything runs beautifully now, even with 8xAA and 16xAF.
Using 4635 64bit.

I am able to load my .iso and get to the main menu fine. However when I try to start a new single player game, I hear mario say "here we go" and then I just see the main menu backdrop scrolling and the music plays but a game never starts. What could be the cause of this?

Hey I'm new to the forum, but I just had a few questions:

So, I got the emulator working fine and I've read most people on here have completed the game successfully.

However, I was wondering if anyone solved the problem of the no shadows issue under the direct X 9 pluggin or does everyone use OpenGL? The game, I personally think, looks significantly better when there are shadow shaders enabled, however, playing the game in OpenGL results in a less than playable frame rate.

For the record, I'm running:
Dolphin 4635 64 bit (I'm not sure if I should use the IL or non-IL .exe?)
NSMB PAL
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

AMD Phenom 9550 X4 2.2 GHz
ATi 4670
8 GB Ram

-Thanks!
