Don't mind the bump, but I have been experiencing a rather annoying problem with this game; when I run the game off of an extracted .dol file, (I do this so I can easily test and play levels made with Reggie! Level Editor Next) a number of certain on-screen graphical effects are missing. Again, this is only present when running the game off of a seperate .dol file that I extracted from the .iso itself, for ease and convenience of playtesting my custom levels. Graphical effects that are missing include effects such as fire/ice balls, water/lava splashes, dust when Mario slides or turns, etc. I may post a screenshot later on to show the difference.

Please excuse my double post, but I seem to have discovered what I believe to be a new issue with this game. See my profile for computer system specs and Dolphin release currently being used. The issue is that at random times during gameplay, and with no apparent reason or cause, the music and all other audio will suddenly cut out. The audio will remain absent until I either reload or reset the game. Anyone else have this issue? Is it perhaps version-specific? Any remedies for it?
Edit: This issue seems to not just be exclusive to this particular game, rather it seems all games are exhibiting this problem. 09-20-2015, 07:21 AM
I think coins in 8-1 (maybe whole 8 world, didn't pay attention) are not HD, playing on 4.0-7725.

Hello,
I need to use Dolphin to use a NSMBW ISO (It's from my own copy from CleanRip), however when I run the ISO it shows a black screen that does not change saying stuff about my graphics. I need to use it to play levels from Reggie!. I know how to use Reggie!, and yes I have already done this on my Wii using Riivolution, but I need to do this on my computer so I can record my levels. Does someone know what the problem is? I would provide a download link to my ISO but I think that violates a policy, I don't know, I'm new here. Some might say I should've posted this in the Riivolution forums but because this is using Dolphin I think it belongs here. Thanks, Gunner 09-25-2015, 02:01 AM

That's not the issue, I want to be able to use those levels on my computer so I can record them and such. As stated before, when I use the ISO it shows a black screen and does not change. 09-25-2015, 09:32 AM

How do I fix? 11-12-2015, 04:43 AM
OK, so I have been experiencing an odd and quite honestly rather annoying problem with this game of late. The problem is this; whenever I am playing this game and I press my reset key, the emulator does not reset. I know it's not an issue with my key binding not working because it works fine for most other games. I really just don't understand why this particular game outright refuses to reset like it ideally should.
Does anyone else experience this issue? I could really use some insight into this, as it is rather annoying at times. |
